- Accumulation of dirt and dust can dull the surface. Regular cleaning is recommended.
- Remove your jewelry before physical activities. To avoid damage from impacts or exposure to harmful substances.
- Avoid exposure to water. Water is a substance that can accelerate the oxidation of silver jewellery. Although silver jewellery is resistant, it is a good idea to remove it before showering or swimming.
3. Storage
- Store each piece separately from other items to avoid damage or scratches. A soft box, dedicated case or breathable fabric bag is deal.
- Store your jewellery in a dry, well-ventilated place to maintain its properties. Humidity and exposure to extreme temperatures are harmful to silver.
*Above trips are valid for most silver jewels, but some pieces require special care such as pieces with a satin texture. For stain or gold-plated jewellery with molecular protection treatments, do not use polishing clothes, brushes or specific professional and therefore abrasive detergents, as they could damage the opaque finish and so create shiny areas and remove the treatment on the gold plating.
