What is 14KGF (14K Gold Filled)?
Goldfilled is a material (brass) with 14K gold pressure bonding. If the gold weight is more than 1/20th of the total weight, it is called gold-filled. It is characterized by being more durable (hard to peel off) than plating. Since the gold is thick and does not easily peel off, it is considered a material that does not cause allergic reactions to nickel and does not cause metal allergies.
